Welcome to the 2008-2009 School Year!

Dulles Elementary School is eager and excited to provide quality learning opportunities for our children. We have a long history of outstanding students and staff, and provide many learning opportunities for our children. We are all very proud to be a part of this outstanding school community.

Children are the main focus of our academic program. Our academic program is based on the California Content Standards, current trends, educational research, best practices, and instructional data. Our teachers are an important resource for our children’s achievement, and the teachers at Dulles are caring and committed to ensure that all children experience success. Our goal is that every child achieves proficiency in English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, the Arts and Physical Education.

At Dulles, we recognize the role of parents in education.  Active parent involvement is key to our school’s success. We encourage our parents to become team members in their children’s education and welcome them on our campus to volunteer in our classrooms, become active members of our PTA, and attend all activities sponsored by the Dulles community.

Please remember that when we believe in children, the possibilities are endless and when we work together, we can make a difference!

I am looking forward to a wonderful year!

Principal, Dulles Elementary School

Let's Hear Your Spirit!
Say it loud, say it proud! If you are at or near the Dulles campus on Friday mornings, you may be hearing our new spirit tune. To learn more, click the title of this article.
Learning Begins at 8:15
Did you know…that instruction begins at 8:15 am? This means that children should be at school and in their seats ready to learn at 8:15 am. In order to accomplish this we will be ringing a warning bell at 8:10 to signal children to go to their room lines.
Welcome New Teachers
Please welcome new teachers to Dulles Elementary. Ms. Wickham, (although not exactly new) has returned and is currently teaching a K/1 combo. Ms. Fitzpatrick joins us from Benton, teaching a 2/3 combo and Mrs. Petruescu joins us in the 5th grade from Hargitt.
